18 wks 4 days..

Sorry i'm a little late, this weekend was crazy busy with a little vacation and moving stuff out of little b's room and our bedroom for new carpet =) I can honestly say right now that pregnancy is flying by.. i can't believe i'm almost half way.. We have all the furniture for brynlee's room and its just waiting for that carpet.. So hopefully next week i can post some picutres of her room almost finished =) I'm so glad i could get it done and get everything we needed so early, i know i wouldn't have enjoyed painting her room like we did when i am a huge pregnant mommy =) even though i have the best family ever that helped sooo much, i wanted to help do it =)
I love watching my belly grow, i really thought it would freak me out, but i can honestly say it's the most amazing feeling in the world knowing i have my little princess growing inside me.. I cannot wait to feel her move/kick.. anytime now little bryn...

Milestone: He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound

My hate for public bathrooms

Please just let me vent on how much i HATE public bathrooms. I have something i call a "shy bladder" i cannot go potty when someone is sitting in the stall next to me and its quiet.. I have always been this way and trust me it drives me nuts.. at work our bathrooms are completly quiet and kinda ackward to say the least.. So everytime i go to the bathroom i cannot go unless im the only one in there or there is some kind of noise.. ( also real annoying ) haha.
I some times think people at my work enjoy going to the bathroom and sitting on the stalls for 5 minutes plus doing nothing.. i find it really weird and frustrating cause then poor pregnant vanessa can't go to the bathroom and has to go back to her desk feeling like she might wet her pants.. I already HATE public bathrooms, because people are so dirty and they just freak me out.. But i've come to realize, do your duty and get out..
Thanks for letting me vent =)

16 Wks and a growing belly =)

How far along: 16 wks

How Big: Right now, she's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces

Weight Gain: still down 2.4

Stretch Marks: nothing new

Maternity Clothes: maternity pants normal shirts

Sleep: the belly days are officially over.. the dr told me i could sleep on it until it was uncomfortable, and its definatly uncomfortable now =(

Best Moment this Week: painting our princesses room and getting all the furniture and bedding already =)

Food Cravings: ice cream

Food dislikes:still meat.

Gender: Its a beautiful baby GIRL!!

Movement: nothing yet.. they say anywhere from 16 on, so we'll see =)

What I miss: not feeling so drained.. and ibuprofen, i've been getting the worst headaches and that;s the only medicine that helps my headaches, and i can't take it =(

Belly Button: looking normal. i don't think it will ever pop.. its so deep..

What I am looking forward to: hopefully starting on the stripes in babies room on sunday

Milestone: legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

5 YeArS aGo ToDaY

5 years ago today i started dating the love of my life.. Who knew you could fall so deep in love when your 17.. I knew from the very beginning bradon wasn't like MOST guys... He was SO innocent and sweet ( we were in high school so that says a ton) Bradon was always so respectful to everyone and everyone just loved him. I felt so blessed to call him mine.. 3 years later he asked me to be his wife, my emotions were everywhere, i was so happy to be marrying my best friend!! I can truely say i have never been let down by bradon. He seems to amaze me more and more every day.. Every time i hear people talk about there husbands/boyfriends i am more and more thankful for him.. He always has something sweet to say to me, and is always caring about his little family.. On November 13th when i said I DO, i knew right then and there it was the best choice i've ever made in my life.. He's my prince charming and we're definatly living our fairy tale! My life couldn't be any better and i owe it all to him! I love you Bradon and thanks for being the best husband and best friend a girl could ask for.!!

15 weeks ( and 2 days ) oops.. and the sex of baby fred....

It has been one CrAzy week that's for sure.. Thursday was my litte precious Kimberlee's 3rd birthday, its so hard to believe she's that old.. I sure love that girl and her little voice can brighten my day in minutes!! We got another birthday that day now, little krew was born that night at 10:51.. So him and his sister will share a birthday.. So cool..

Friday day we went in to Fetal Studios to find out what the little "Freds" sex was.. I was fine all day until i laid down on the bed... I just started thinking am i really pregnant.. i'm so weird i know, but i've had such an easy 1st trimester sometimes i think there's so way.. Then the dr. put the little doppler right on my belly and bam there baby fred was.. It was the coolest thing ever!! Last time we say baby it was sooo small, like a little blob, now theres hands little feet ADORABLE profile and so much more to see. Baby is measuring right on track, which makes me so happy of course.. The dr went right to the bum and knew right away he was looking at.. He kept calling it a certain sex and i kept looking at him like if you know something tell me NOW!!! The baby was looking down at my spine or right at me so we were trying to make it move by poking my belly so i said "hey little mister move so we can see your profile" and the dr looks at me and said..............

ITS A GIRL!!! i just looked and him and said are you seriuos, and he said yes and went back to the bum and showed us the 3 lines and some other things to prove she was a little lady.. my heart was beating so fast. and i just fell in love sooo much more which i didn't think was possible.. The dr. said he's 200% positive its a girl and to start shopping.. So we did =) haha. She kept eating/or sucking on her hand, it was sooo cute
I love her sooo much and can't wait to start our life with the PRINCESS =)

Milestone: She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds.
