Oh boy oh boy!
Friday April 29th we headed into fetal fotos to find out what baby #3 was.. Both the girls thought boy, well brynlee went back and forth, but bryton was set on it being a baby brother. Bradon and i both thought for sure girl, we just were set on being parents of girls forever, and totally ok with that. We both agreed it would be fun to see a baby fredrickson boy but we didn't NEED one like some people say.
We went in at 4:30 p.m all 4 of us and were so anxious. Right when the tech started baby boy was wide open and bradon saw BOY right away. The tech was like wow baby really wants you to know what they are, then asked if we were ready. then the words i never thought i would hear " You are welcoming a sweet baby boy". I started crying and was sooo shocked, i just started hitting bradon , haha i think he was totally shocked too.
She said numerous times baby boy wants to make sure we all know he is a boy and kept giving different angles and everything. I think he knows mommy was in disbelief.
My whole family was heading down to go camping this weekend with some family friends so we thought it would be fun to do the gender reveal down there on Saturday. It made my family go crazy having to wait one day, but they made it =)
We went down to my grandparents right after and told them the news. My grandma told us that earlier that morning my grandpa walked out of the bathroom and said Vanessa is having a boy i just know it.. So cute.. They were both soo excited for us.
We then went over to bradon's parents and the girls told them the news. Everyone was so excited to get a little boy fred.
For the gender reveal we stuffed huge black balloons full of blue confetti. I had tons of pink and gold glitter already from other parties so i honestly didn't go buy any cause i figured it was a girl. Friday night we were out till 11:00 at night and all the party stores were closed by then, then we were leaving bright and early to head up camping, so we had to get creative with blue confetti, haha but we made it work and it turned out great.
we had three balloons full and had some of the cousins pop them up camping. I still can't believe we're having a BOY. It's been so weird transitioning from pink and flowers to boy stuff.. It's sooo much harder, and the nursery options are sparce.. Luckly i have a pretty talented husband so i think baby boy's room is going to turn out pretty awesome.
We leave for vacation in 2 days, then once we get back it's all about baby time =) Hopefully that will make it feel more real too..
