Our new home

We are all moved in and out of boxes.. HALLELUJAH!
We closed on January 29th and moved in January 30th. We were able to get all of our stuff moved in thanks to all of our amazing friends and family. What an adventure it was. You never realize how much stuff you have until you move. I felt like when we moved out of our old house i got rid of soooo much stuff but i feel like we still had so much to move... NEVER AGAIN.... or i'm hiring a company. haha

We are so in love with our new home and it has started to feel just like home. We've gotten pretty much everything decorated and in place so that helps make everything feel more real. We are in a brand new neighborhood. We were the 5th house to move in. I love that everyone is new to the neighborhood.

The girls have adapted so well and same with the dogs. We have more room then we know what to do with. Half of our kitchen cupboards are empty. haha

I cannot believe we are finally in and can't wait for all the memories to start =)

Here's a little tour of some of our house.


I love our kitchen. One of the top things bradon and I wanted in our new house was the open floor plan in the kitchen to frontroom. Having 3 birthdays in january we needed somewhere inside where we could celebrate. We cannot wait to have all of our bday parties here in our own home.

Our frontroom.. Awww i love my mantel... Two of my request for "upgrades" were a fireplace mantel and a chunky wood railing.. We have so much more seating and room for toys and actually have room for end tables..

This is one of my favorite rooms.. Our loft.... It's our second front room but upstairs.. It's our hang out messy play room.. I told the girls this is where we can party and make messes.

Our master bedroom. Our master and master bath is the whole back side of our house, i love how much room we have in there , our big furniture finally fits like it should..

When we finished our bathroom in our old house bradon tiled the shower and one of his requests for "upgrades" was to tile the shower and tub cause he loved the look of it so much! It turned out awesome and we're really enjoying the HUGE tub. especially the girls.. It's like there own little hot tub.

Coming from one bathroom that was pretty dang small we don't know what to do with all this room and not being on top of eachother while being in the bathroom..

Bryn j's room.. both the girls lucked out and good huge walk in closets.. We put tons of toys in there and it's like there own little play room. brynlee goes in there and just plays forever...

Brynlee Jo turns 4

I never knew how much the heart could love until i had you!!! Brynlee Jo!! You are seriously my little best friend.. Watching you grow from a baby to a toddler to now a kid just amazes me. Your mind is constantly running and learning new things. You are beyond smart and have always been so ahead with your skills since your were little. We've got a little genious on our hands.

You had to get your kindergarton shots this check up and holy moly we should have strapped you down in a straight jacket, you were not a fan of the shots AT ALL.. haha mommy had you and sissy by herself while daddy and school and it was quite a chore.

You are such a girly girl, for your birthday you asked for makeup,jewelry and to get your hair colored. haha i had to remind you that your 4 not 16....

You have the most amazing imangination. Ever since you were little you were able to go into a room and just play and play all by your self..

You are still quite a picky little eater.. i think you have inherited your dad's tastebuds. You LOVE to dip food, your favorite dip is ranch. =) you get that from your mama.

You are in 4-5 T clothing and wear size 10.5 shoes.

I won't even go into how smart you are cause i can just say you're a little genious and that pretty much covers it!

You are soooo observent, you will remember the littlest things and then bring it up months later.. I think it's so cute.

You love your little sister so much and constantly wanting to be playing with her.. She gives you a run for your money and is usually a little monster, but for some reason you still love the crap out of her =)

You love to play with your cousins or at daycare.. Every day we have to hear how you don't ever go to your cousins or daycare.. haha so much drama =)

You are still a good sleeper. You usually are in bed between 9;00 or 10;00 and sleep till 7-8. You are trying soooo hard to get out of nap time.. We still have quite time every day though.

You said the next sport you want to do is either soccer or ice skating.... we'll see what we sign up for this year.

We love you so much Brynlee Jo.. I still cannot believe i have a 4 year old.. Now stop growing!!

Bryton Vanessa turns 2

Oh my beautiful girl, How in the world are you 2?? Since your such a tiny little thing still i like to pretend your 9 months still. You have the most sweetest soul and something about you just melts me to the ground. I feel you never do anything wrong and daddy is starting to get after me, but like i said your only 9 months still in my eyes so you can't do wrong right =)

You are still quite the stranger danger girl.. Anywhere mommy or daddy go your sure to be right there with us.. You don't like being left alone without us, unless you have quite sometime to warm up to everyone. Your smile is worth a million dollars, it shows how much personality you have. You just cut all of your 2 year molars all at the same time, you're such a rockstar!

You are still in your crib and sleep like a champ! you usually go down about 9:00 pm and wake up at 8-9 am. You take 1 nap a day and it's usually exactly 2 hrs long. Since we're moving into our new home this weekend we're going to try to transition you into a big girl bed. We'll see how that goes....

You talk non stop, most things we can understand and sometimes it's still just jibberish. haha.
You know where all your body parts are and know all of your animals.

You are obsessed with shoes, you always have to have a pair on and change them every 5 minutes, But as soon as we get into the car they instantly come off.. Such a stinker

You have such fine hair, We've cut it quite a bit cause it grows in so stringy, so short and trying to get it thicker is our task right now =)

You are an AMAZING eater. You will pretty much eat any veggie and fruit, the only thing you don't LOVE are sandwiches.. You will eat them, but not your favorite.

You are still quite the bully. You have your group of people you like and don't like and you are certain to let them know how you feel.. good thing youre cute..

We are so in love with you Miss Bryton.. I feel so extremely blessed to get to wake up to your amazing little voice every morning... when you wake up you yell MOMMMM i wake up..... so precious!

Building our home

Back in August Bradon and I started talking about putting our house back up on the market. We've both wanted to build for the pass couple years but wanted to make sure we weren't just giving our current home away and was going to make the most we could from it. We decided we would start working on the bathroom downstairs slowly and just let the people who came to look at the house that the bathroom was guaranteed to be finished by move in day. Last time we tried to sale our house we had 1-2 showings a day but never any offers, so we thought we'd have plenty of time to finish the bathroom. Little did we know the 4th people and day 5 we had full asking price offered to us.. It was so surreal and a tad bit stressful all at the same time. Luckily i have a very handy father in law and amazing dad and brother in laws that were there almost every day to help us finish up the bathroom as quickly as possible. We were so excited it was finally happening. A week before closing we got news that the cosigner wasn't eligible anymore to help with the loan, i think that was one of the worst things we were wanting to hear. About 2-3 days later they came back and said that an uncle was going to help cosign. HALLEJUHA!!! we closed on the house on October 6th and moved in with my parents.We are very thankful for them and letting us into there house while our new home is being built. It's been quite the adventure but we would have never been able to make it work without them.

Watching our very own home where we picked out almost every detail be built is seriously one of the most amazing things ever! It's been so fun driving over to our lot every day and seeing what progress was made for the day. We had so much fun picking out colors and tiles to picking out the color of our roof and garage. haha.The house is completely framed and sheet rocked. We went over last night and they have all the baseboards,doors, window seals,fire place is done with the mantel, our staircase is done and they've started painting. We're told cupboards and vanities are next. We are just to dang excited. We're hoping to be able to start moving in the end of January but we shall see.. Hopefully 20 ish more days =)

Going through my phone we did so many fun little things this past summer..

Brynlee did her first year of tball and she seriously loved it.. I think the thought of being out on a wide open field to just run and have fun is every 3 year olds dream. She was on the same team as her cousin krew and friend tylee. They were so cute and really did great for there first year. Bradon was like an asistant coach and was out on 1st base for every game helping out.. She's pretty lucky to have such a rad dad!!

We got to go to a "ufc" thing with my sisters and brother in laws and watch bradon's MMA coach fight.. It was a fun night out with my family.. I love that i have such awesome brother in laws and we all have so much fun together.


































We started working on our basement bathroom.. Little did we know our house would sale in 5 short days.. We were wanting to take it slow, but it didn't work out that way.. Bradon, my dad, father in law and brother in laws helped SOOOO much.. We couldn't have done it without there knowledge and help.. I'm so extremely thankful.. it turned out sooooo good and i was alittle sad we didn't have more time to enjoy it..

























We went on lots of movie dates and dinner dates with cousins.. Brynlee is really into movies and does great, so we thought we would try to taken bryton to one with us.. We went to big hero 6 and bryton did AMAZING.. she had her own bucket of popcorn and her sippy and sat there the whole time.. whenever anything suspensful would come up she would grab bradon's hand and say ohhh nooo.. so much fun..


















































Aunt shirley and uncle B bought us a season pass to the zoo this year so we got to go play there a couple times this year. The girls really have no interest in the animals and just want to play on the playground and animal statuse .

 We celebrated easter and had so much fun.. Spring is one of my family seasons.. It's so beautiful and bright.. I love watching my big beautiful girls grow up and celebrate such fun holidays and traditions.. after they did the easter egg hunt all the cousins on the mathew's side went and played in a dirt pile.. Good thing i'm ok with my kids getting dirty, cause holy cow they were taking dirt baths...

We were able to go to Cancun with our cute friends lisa and landon.. It was so much fun and so crazy.. The memories we made will last a lifetime.. I am so extremely thankful for lisa and so glad she is dating a great guy that bradon really enjoys hanging out with.. I cannot wait for our next adventure the 4 of us =))



























































 Brynlee had her first dentist appt this year.. She did sooo good and has been back a second time this year now.. Both times the dentist said her teeth were so great and no cavitys.. yay for having moms teeth..

We got to go out on fun boating trips with shirley and brandons boat and bradon's parents boat.. we got lucky to have 2 boats we are able to play on all summer long.. the girls love being out in the water and so do there parents..




























We were able to go on our annual lagoon trip for grandpa manuels work party.. It's always so much fun and my parnets enjoy taking the kids so much that this year they're getting season passes for all the monkeys so they can take them whenever.. how cute =) brynlee is a little dare devil and has no fear.. it freaks me out just a little...

We Took a trip down to cannoville/ Bryce canyon for grandma shirleys family reunion. My grandma grew up with bryce canyon in her backyard.. It is such a beautiful place and brynlee fell in love with the red rocks.. We went to the little town rodeo and the kids were able to go out on the dirt and case a cow with money on it.. Brynlee thought that was pretty cool. The girls both did sooo good with traveling.. I'm so lucky to have such low key babies.. My grandma's brother in law still lives down there and just turned 90 .. He is sooo cute and has the most amazing garden in his back yard. the girls loved helping him picked all the fun vegetables to take home.

Earlier this year i was really struggling with goals/weight loss. i would set  my mind to something but some way i would loose all thought and fall off the wagon..  I have always hated running.. even when i could do it back in high school on drill i just never enjoyed it.. I had done 2-3 5ks and they were hard.. they really pushed me and i struggled.. I told bradon i wanted to run a 10k for a goal and actually do a 8 week training for it.. Of course he supported my goal and so did my cute lisa and landon.. They all trained to do it with me.. Shirley joined us on race day too and what an awesome horrible hard moment that race was... I trained all 8 weeks and didn't miss one training day.. I was feeling great.. I did most of my training inside on a treadmill.. almost everyone told me i was crazy and they hated running on the treadmill.. for some reason i liked it a little more.. Come race day i realized i should have trained outside on hills and more uneven grounds cause it was night and day difference.. I did great up until mile 5 i lost everything.. My heart was beating soooo fast i felt like i was going to collaspe.. Bradon stopped with me and we walked up to mile 5.5 and then met up with the rest of the group and ran the rest of the way in.. It was the hardest thing i have pushed my body to do mentally and physcially.. After the race i decieded i really hated running and wasn't going to be doing much more of any races. haha I'm glad i pushed my self and showed myself i can do anything i push myself too do..





















































 We had our annual fair trip with the whole fam and our group g and g. it's always a fun time and the kids love it.. This year we pretty much just did rides the whole time..

My sisters,parents and lisa took the kiddos to st george for the little mermaid at tuacon.. It was a really cute show and fun little expeirence.. The weather was a little crazy but thankfully held up during the show and didn't rain us out.. It was a fun quick trip with just brynlee to give all my attention too.. I sure love that little girl more than anything!!!
