We have had such a great winter break celebrating all the fun holidays from halloween,thanksgiving,christmas at our new house, new years and all of our birthdays. October- March is none stop partying in our family, and as crazy as it is we all love it.
Starting out with October. The girls and I LOVE halloween. We thought it would be so fun to start a halloween party tradition at our house. I love to throw parties for the kids and now that we have the perfect house to do it in i want to make it more of a habit. We had all my friends and there little ones over and sisters and nieces and nephews, and of course g and g domingo came. I had so much fun planning the food and games. It was an awesome night and can't wait to continue the fun.. This year just might be a little harder =))
Both the girls picked out there own costumes and were so excited for halloween. I am definatly not that mom that makes my kids be what i want them to be, they're only little once right.
Brynlee chose to be draculaura from monster high and bryton wanted to be a witch. Bradon even dressed up with us this year as bubbles from trailor park boys. The girls and I laughed everytime we saw him. We were able to get good use out of our costumes this year between all the halloween parties and trick or treating. We LOVE halloween.
Moving into our house was seriously the best decesion we ever made. We've made the best of friends and brynlee has made so many neighborhood friends as well. I love all of our neighbors. We have monthly night outs where we all get together and just hang out. We've done craft nights with just the girls and numerous nights with the kids. We even have a night out to wendover in june.
Brynlee loves having all the kids in the neigborhood to play with and i'm loving all the adult time and new friends.
We got to celebrate thanksgiving with bradon's family and mine. I love that we get to see everyone every year and make it work with out any problems. We of course had our fun black friday adventures. It's not as fun and crazy anymore since everything starts in the middle of the day, but we still love to go out for our tradition and see what we can snag.
We celebrated my moms birthday with some bowling and cafe rio. Then a week later we celebrated my dad with some zoo lights and sizzler.
The girls had there first ice skating adventure. They both actually did really well. Brynlee took a little bit to find her balance but she did great once she did. Bryton was a little natural and just took right off. It was so cute them in there little skates.
We got to celebrate our first Christmas in our new home. We were so excited to have everyone over for the holiday. We set up two christmas trees. One up in the loft and one down in the frontroom. We used the one in the loft as our family tree and the girls got to fully decorate it and put all of our presents under it. The one down in the frontroom is mommies tree and we used it for the presents from g and g domingo. Everything turned out so perfect despite the feet and feet of snow we had to keep shoveling from our driveway so people could get in. haha.
My beautiful baby girl turned 3. I need to do a whole post on that. Oh man this little girl is getting so big. And she's just the most beautiful kind hearted little person ever! I love her dimple face so much .
This year we decided to celebrate the girls birthday parites together since everyone we were inviting were all the same people. Brynlee invitied her two neighbor friends but everyone else was close family and friends. We did the whole jungle jims deal and it turned out great. I am so extremely blessed with all my best friends that came out to help celebrate my babies special days. The girls had the best day and we knocked it all out in one day which was super amazing.
Then just two weeks later my Biggest baby girl turned FIVE.... Man on man where does the time go with kids. I swear i was just rocking her to sleep in her room last month. Now we're registering for preschool and having dates with friends. As much as i love the friendship i have with this girl ( she's literally my best friend) i hate this growing up crap.
We celebrated valentines day all day long. We went bowling and to the pie for lunch. Then bradon and i got to go to a movie and tepenyaki at night. I sure love my little family more than anything and so thankful to get to kiss them whenever i want =)
On Februauary 18th we found out some exciting news. We are pregnant with baby #3. It was 4 days early but i was just itching to know. Bradon and brynlee were gone at cheer practice and bryton was sleeping. I had one test in my dresser drawer and i thought i'm to early but i have to do it. It was 4:30 in the afternoon, and i'm a water drinker big time, i figured for sure my pee would be to diluted but what the heck. As soon as i set it down i saw a positive line, I started bawling.... i didn't know what to think, bradon got home 30 minutes later and i went and showed him the test. He didn't want to get his hopes up so we ran out and got a digital one, and sure enough YES+. more to come on this.....
Brynlee had her first cheer competition. She is so darling and i love her little spunk she puts out while performing. Everytime i watch her i'm just amazed i made that perfect little being. She did so wonderful and i cann't wait to watch her grow in sports. I loved dancing and i love that she is enjoying it as well. Next month we get to go out to st george and have a competetion there. We're super excited.
Brynlee failed her 4 and 5 year old eye check with her pediatrician. He recommended to go see an eye dr to check her vision. I scheduled bradon and her an appointment and sure enough her eyesight was struggling. She has a hard time with far sighting and her eyes to focus. The dr said the glasses should help strenghten her eyes and she may grow out of them but may not. She looks so dang cute in them and i cant' stop kissing her. She LOVES them and is constantly saying how adorable she looks. haha
We celebrated easter all weekend long. I love easter. The fun springy colors and traditions have definatly made it one of my favorite holidays. We always go to the south jordan egg hunt, then go get our sweet saturday on with coffees cookies and muffins. Then after that we head over to grandma jo's for a fun filled day of dying eggs, easter egg hunts and fun with the cousins.
Sunday morning we woke up to hidden eggs and baskets all around our house. The girls LOVED it and were screaming this is the best the whole time. I love these holidays with my babies. We then headed over to g and g domingos for more easter fun. My mom and dad made breakfast and we made waffle love waffles. So YUM. the kids made out with lots of money that were hidden in the eggs, grandma and grandpa must have been feeling rich.
We have so many fun things coming this year we can hardle contain ourselves =) Bradon graduates with his associates of computer science next month. He rocked a 3.8 GPA so he gets a special rope to wear when we walks. I am so beyond proud of this man and the dedication he has towards everything in life. I cannot wait for the future to see where he goes with this degree. He starts up this fall at the U for his bachelors.
We then leave for our family vacation in just a month and a half. We're flying into san diego and doing legoland for 2 days, disneyland for 1 day and then a couple of beech days. We are excited to have daddy back in the summers so we can do more vacations together. YAY to no more summer school.
